Hello, hola, bonjour!

My name is Lauren, I am a Swiss-American with a travel bug! For the past year I have been living in Lausanne, CH. I absolutely love it there! I grew up a little all over the USA, from Idaho to Massachusetts and a few places in between.

I consider myself very outgoing and easy to get along with, I love to be around people and see new things and places. I enjoy fun nights out, museums, or just wandering aimlessly through new cities. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and I understand all French, but admittedly still have a little trouble speaking it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here because many of my friends have used Couchsurfing for their travels, and had amazing experiences with amazing people. I love the idea of it, and I know as soon as I move into my own apartment in February I will be doing the same here in Switzerland, mi casa es su casa :)

My brother, Jarrett, (in my photos with me in NYC), is going to be visiting me in December for Christmas vacation, he actually arrives in Paris on Christmas day. That being said, I'm looking for someone generous who is happy to have some company for the holiday! It is his first time EVER to Europe, so I want to give him the true Europe experience, and what better way than Couchsurfing! I myself have not spent much time in Paris, and since we are only there for two days/one night, we will definitely be out exploring the city as much as possible. So don't worry, we won't be in your hair, but you are also more than welcome to join us and do some sightseeing of course! Drinks are on us ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Fun fact about me, when I was younger I was on the US Youth Ski Team in Jackson Hole, WY, so if you ever come visit me here you can be sure we will hit some slopes ;D

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share amazing stories and make new ones with you! As said earlier, drinks or dinner or even gas money (if we're lucky enough to find someone to give us rides to/from the airport/trainstation that is) is on us! I am also a great cook, as it's my job, so I can also offer a great home cooked meal or even better, desserts!
