I just finished thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail - a trail about 2200 miles long. I'm learning Spanish (my Spanish speaking roommate says I'm practically fluent though I'm less confident) and can understand if you speak slowly. I love exploring the world and meeting the people in it.

I want to see new places and learn from people who live there. I want to make the most out of my short time in a city.
Couchsurfing for me is not a convenient place to stay but a great way to jump headfirst into the beauty of people. I have actually gone hours out of my way and completely changed travel plans to stay with people I wanted to meet.
