ABOUT ME

I'm an easygoing person, I like to travel and enjoy meeting new people. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, but you can be the judge of that! I love adventure but am also happy to spend a day indoors, snuggled with a good book and some tea.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is not a mean by which we accomplish tasks, it is not merely a way of getting from point A to point B, C, or D; sometimes, it is an experience unto itself; it is a physical, psychological, and spiritual displacement of the soul that forces us to adapt, grow, and learn the beauty of this planet and its inhabitants. This is a concept that should be promoted on a global scale, but sometimes ethnocentrism gets the better of us. We all struggle with it, and that's okay, so let's support each other in making the attempt.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a part of couch surfing for almost a year at this point, and I've have been able to surf a handful of times through this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Life changing. The people I've met and stayed with have been generous, helpful, and willing to share their cultures with me. I only hope that I've done the same for them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"Sun Yoga" with some new friends in Budva, Montenegro. It was amazing standing atop a beautiful mountain, in complete silence, watching the sun set behind the hills of the old city. The experience was so peaceful and reflective, and the view--needless to say--was stunning.

The whole goal is to meet people. Those of different religions, political beliefs, cultures, etc, because the more people you meet, the more you learn, and the more you can share with the world!
