Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are just starting but have heard great things about couch surfing and would love to get involved with it in our community at home and around the world as we go about our travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but we are planning on going to the 2nd Annual Columbus CouchCrash!!

Interests

We've recently started cooking (although we're both not particularly good at it yet) and love trying new recipes and foods. One of our favorite things is cooking with our other roommates and friends. We enjoy traveling and exploring new places, foods, and cultures. We love being outside, especially when we're climbing, which we both got hooked on about a year ago.

We know we probably sound like the same person but we're actually not! Lauren's all about reading and loves a deep conversation, while Nikki's the artsy goofball.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For Lauren: The impromptu decision to go skydiving was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The few seconds of complete free falling was like nothing else I've ever experienced and just thinking about it makes my heart race a little.

For Nikki: One moment I will absolutely never forget was when I was riding a tiny speedboat to one of the many islands in Fiji. I looked up at the night sky to find more stars than I had ever imagined.
