About Me
Hello! I'm 23, recently graduated in Film Arts and Sociology. Growing up and still living near the coast, I am an ocean and wave-lover through and through.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm traveling throughout Europe for the month of October and some of November - months of saving and bad case of the travel bug in the post-grad limbo. Really though, this is a trip I've been wanting to take for a long time and am excited to just have chance to get out there again, explore and meet new people. I don't like to see a city by following advice from a travel guide; I want to meet someone who really knows the streets and the neighborhood and is willing to share what they know with me.
Interests
Sketch artist, reader, constant journal-er. Most at home with salt water, waves and sand. Love cooking and love trying new foods even more. Backpacking, hiking, bouldering and canyoneering. Combining my two majors, my main goal is to continue creating documentaries that undermine stereotypes created by the media and giving a platform to social justice issues.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Canyoneering in Utah's Escalante. The view from the bottom of a slot canyon.... :)
Swam in the bluest of blue Havasupai waterfalls in the Grand Canyon.
Hiked Angel's Landing in Zion. Elevation: 5,790 ft.
Camped on a coastal ranch in Big Sur. With cows.
Teach, Learn, Share
Drawing. Journaling is the art of the traveler and sharing this medium with others (I've found) inspires them to document their own adventures. I love baking - should there ever be a dinner event, you can count on me to help out with the sweet tooth portion.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I really hope to get to know my hosts! For me couch surfing is more than a room (or couch) but the relationships. Its nice to know there are people who are willing to welcome you to their home and I'd like to return the favor one day and show them around California and Santa Cruz :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Belgium, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland
