Overview
About Me
I've moved all over, from the Midwest, to the Southwest, to the Northwest, and back to the Southwest. I studied design in Chicago, IL and moved to Arizona afterwards. Recently, I lived in Seattle for 1 year, and just moved back to Arizona in preparation for a long term travel adventure my boyfriend and I would like to take.
I enjoy learning and reading, and am constantly teaching myself new skills. I also enjoy cooking, and do so daily.
My boyfriend and I own 2 dogs, an 11 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix named Bali, and a 3 year old Rottweiler/Chow mix named Kiera, who will stay with family while we travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My boyfriend and I discussed travel as a dream of ours, and decided that we would take some time off to get out in the world. Our biggest challenge has been coming up with the money to do so, which is why I am interested in Couchsurfing. I don't have a place to offer at the moment, but once I do, I hope to become a host.
Interests
Like I mentioned, I love to cook. My favorites are homemade pizza, Bolognese or most any type of pasta, and any kind of soup. I've spent days making ramen broth, and love to explore new cuisines and share it with others.
I also enjoy learning new skills. I love to be creative and I sew, make patterns, hats, and jewelry. Graphic design is also something I enjoy doing, and am currently learning web design.
Travel is a passion of mine and new cultures intrigue me. To me, exploring a new place is one of the most exciting things. I could spend days wandering around a city, discovering all the little shops and restaurants they have to offer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving across the US multiple times.
Teach, Learn, Share
In my opinion, travel is the best way to learn. Connecting with other cultures and expanding our awareness is not only a way to appreciate the things we have in life, but teach us so much about ourselves.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I cook, I sew, make jewelry, hats, patterns. You name it, and I'm sure I have tried it. If I know how, I will teach you....and make you dinner while I'm at it.
