Overview
About Me
No tenemos planes precisos, solo tomar tiempo, encontrar a gente, y approvechar! Cambiar de planes hace parte del plan.
We are Lauren and Simon, a couple of two french people and right now two travelers for the next 6 months, because working is not so cool.
Almost 2 years ago we decided to leave our respective jobs and go on a trip for at least 6 months. Our original plan was to go to South America but some friends decided to celebrate New year in Greece. So we changed our plan and at the beginning of last December and left for Greece, passing by Sardinia.
Now, our friends are back home and we start the second part of our plan, the original one in south America.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We're in Couchsurfing because it’s much more fun and interesting than a classic hotel where you won’t meet anybody and talk to anyone.
What is the point of a 4-star-spa-swimming-pool-all-inclusive holidays center when you can sleep on a too short sofa and spend a wonderful time with your hote? I can't get it.
Interests
Travelling of course!! That's so mainstream, but aren't we all in Couchsurfing? Being out of your confort zone, discovering another cultures and ways of life, that's sometimes scary and always worth it.
We also love trekking, we often organise treks in week-ends and holidays.
Sports in general, and all activities that need some skills and that can keep me occupied a whole day to be able to manage it a little.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Trip hop, Electro, Dub, Frenchcore, World music, rock, metal and probably many more.
One of our game is to listen to a traditional playlist music and try to find which country it's from
Books: so many!! You should try La horde du contrevent, from Alain Damasio, if it has ever been traduced. Dystopias (animal's farm, from George Orwell), travel novels (Ella Maillard is my hero), journalists novels (Svetlana Alexievitch),...
Movies: not so many, evenings are too shorts for a 2-hours movie
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hacer trekking en montagnas francesas (Alpes y Massif central) en invierno, dormiendo en refugios
Hiking in the mountains (french Alps and Massif Central) in winter sleeping in cabins
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hacer un trekking juntos!
Reparar tu casa o tu mueble!
