ABOUT ME

I'm currently studying abroad for in Madrid, Spain and couldn't be happier here. I'm originally from sunny Sacramento, California where I studied economics and worked at a public relations firm. I'm pretty easygoing and love learning!
I have traveled here and there, but am really hoping to see more of the world while I am in Europe. I love seeing new places, appreciating/participating in the culture, meeting new people and trying new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So many people have told me about their wonderful CS experiences and I wanted to join and create experiences of my own.
I went with my friend who is part of CS to Lisbon, Portugal a couple of weekends ago and we stayed with a fellow CS. He was so kind and hospitable. He went out of his way to show us around the city and offered us many local tips/advice to make sure we got the full Lisbon experience. I feel like we got to see a unique side of Lisbon that we would have been oblivious to had we traveled alone. Besides seeing the city, we also got to talk about a number of interesting topics and I really enjoyed the exchange between cultures. It was truly a fantastic experience!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I remember flying into Santorini with my co-workers around 6 a.m. after completing a week and a half of 12+ hour work days in Athens. I was utterly exhausted, but I got to see this amazing sunrise walking off the plane. I was rejuvenated and after we arrived to the hotel, I threw on my running shoes to enjoy the first rays of sunlight, seeing the light reflected on the ocean, architecture and all the the local people getting ready for their day. I love getting a head start on mornings.
