Hey there everyone!My name is Lauren, and I'm a super upbeat, tornado of energy! I love playing sports, and I love the program I'm in at university- Nursing! I love meeting new people, and sharing experiences is what life is about, isn't it? I cannot wait to head back to Europe to experience the culture and history of it all :).I'm sorry that I can't tell you more about myself, I don't know what you want to hear... I believe in the words of Ghandi - Be the change you want to see. So much laziness, anger, deceit in the world, and I want no part of it. I would like to help make the changes for the better by being a role model. I believe that I can help make the world a better place if I try!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't really have space at my home for people to drop in for a couch surf, but I would love for people to hit me up for coffee so I can hear all about them and their adventures abroad!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had any couchsurfing experiences yet, I'm hoping to change that in April when my best friend and I head to Europe!!

Interests

I love sports. Specifically, rugby, soccer, hockey, badminton, but all the other ones, I love to play as well. I love nursing, its definitely my passion right now. I'm very involved in my university life, being on several committees, societies, and groups!! My favourite thing to do is explore. That is hard to do in PEI when tip-to-tip it's a 4 hour drive, and you know the land like the back of your hand. However, whenever I get a chance I am exploring the forests, going down a different road to see where I end up. I loveee the mystery, and don't really care if I get lost, cause all roads lead to Rome, right ;)?

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all movies, all music and all books. I am interested in opening my mind and trying to see these artistic things from other's perspectives, not just my own closed mind!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Hungary when I was in my 12th and final year in high school. It was the most amazing experience to see someone else's culture. I really have wanted to go back to Europe since then :)

The human body fascinates me... all the workings of it, the structures, everything, if you need help with it, I got your back ;)

I would loooove to learn other languages; however, I'm not very good at picking up on them :(
