Joined couchsurfing because I'm looking to connect with other people in Amman as well as meet connections for my future travels

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately due to my living situation in Amman, I won't be able to host anyone, but I'd love to show you around the city or go on any weekend/ day trips with you. When I get back stateside, my couch in Los Angeles is if open!

Interests

Travelling is my main interest when my funds allow for it. I write a lot, usually fiction. Also into politics...very left/ progressive. Political comedy. Being in a new culture with people who have different experiences than mine. Civil and economic rights. Black feminism. My favorite pastime is going out with friends; any social gathering makes me happy. I really enjoy music all type; I love going out as well. I am an avid reader, so, when I'm not with friends, I'm usually reading a book...probably while staring guilty at an Arabic book I should be studying. I'm always down to try something new; I love souqs and any kind of art exhibition/ gallery.

Also a huge TV person, you can often find me in internet cafes streaming television in Amman...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling Wadi Rum was spectacular, probably the most memorable and picturesque experience while traveling I have had thus far.

Above all else, I Iove, love, love learning recipes. I grew up in the south of America, and my speciality cuisine is southern, Cajun food. I also love scrapbooking. Also would like any styles of dance.
