ABOUT ME

i've always been passionate about food and five years ago i decided to pursue it professionally. i moved to san francisco at 18, went to cuinary school and got my first real kitchen job. i like to cook how i like to eat: simply and slowly. using local, seasonal ingredients with classic and modern technique to create simple approachable food. i just got back from a trip to europe to expand my culinary knowledge and feed my soul.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i like to network within the community to expand my travel horizons. hopefully making friends and travel companions to whom i could extend the same gift of hospitality and insight.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I backpacked through Europe for 9 weeks couchsurfing as much as possible. I left with no real plan but everyone I met was awesome and totally accomidating. Even on such short notice. Thanks to everyone who helped make my trip amazing!

Intereses

amazing street food while intoxicated, unexpectedly good cheap wine, loud live music, travel without plans, low budget zombie films, the word salacious, old books, chandeliers, history that includes the gory details, really cold beer, pin-ups, religious art, broken-in converse, secluded beaches, bacon, going fast, good tattoos, classic cars and spoons.
