I've just moved back home to NZ, having been in Wales for a few years completing my PhD. Everything's up in the air at the moment!

Learning stuff, films, music (so studying film music is an ideal occupation!), photography, swing dancing (lindy hop, balboa), walking....

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that makes me think, makes me feel, makes me laugh, makes me sing along (when no-one else can hear), or makes me tap my toes or dance...

(studying popular music soundtracks means I justify liking not-so-socially-acceptable genres - romantic comedies, dance films, teen movies, etc - by saying they make me think...!)

I love reading, when I have time; I've always enjoyed Margaret Atwood's novels, and my latest favourite author is Jasper Fforde - he's hilarious!
