Originally from Astoria, Queens but did most of my growing up in the suburbs of New Jersey. I sleep in Hoboken - most of my days are split between Manhattan and Brooklyn.

When I was 11, I discovered David Bowie through a sound clip on my World Book Encyclopedia (CD-ROM!), and it ch-ch-ch-ch-changed my life.

A few years ago my shoe got stuck in a downstairs escalator (terrifying) but I MacGyver'd my way out of it. I recently broke a high heel while I was out (equally devastating), and fixed it with two rubberbands. What I'm trying to say is that I'm pretty resourceful...and somewhat unlucky with shoes.
