ABOUT ME

I have not traveled for pleasure in quite awhile and would love to start taking advantage of the awesome travel benefits I have from my job. I've found through my past vacation experiences that it is always more fun and memorable when I can meet and make friends along the way and so couch surfing just seems like it would be the right choice for creating better trips.

PHILOSOPHY

I feel that my purpose in life is to nurture relationships and be kind to (most, lol) everyone I meet. It sounds quite simple but even impossible, which it sometimes is both, but we live in a world that is cold and interactions are so often empty. I love to smile at strangers, random acts of kindness, practicing patience, compassion and understanding. That is the change that I wish to see in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can be very shy and love to be around people who are the opposite! I desire to take risks and love to travel with others who are open to adventure and meeting new people. I get along with pretty much everyone and am very easygoing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some amazing experiences so far with this site and it is such a great tool for those who think meeting new friends along the way is the best part of travel.

兴趣

Concerts, (I follow my favorite bands around a lot) film, reading lots of books, laying on the beach, camping on the beach, hiking, campfires, telling stories, especially ghost stories! I love animals very much love to stay where there are pets around.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Just last week, I got to ride in the flightdeck on one of our planes for a whole flight with the pilots. I had the headset on and could listen to the pilots and Air Traffic Control communicating. Maybe I'm just a huge nerd about aviation, but it was incredible and so amazing to see the land that I fly over every day from a completely different viewpoint.
I've also been able to dance onstage at concerts for two of my favorite bands: Mates of State and the Flaming Lips.
