ABOUT ME

I love learning about cultures and people (I suppose that's no surprise on here). I'm a teacher and always have some sort of online course or interesting book on the go. If you can teach me something new, I'll like you.

I'm nomadic and have been living away from Canada since 2011. The world is too big to stay in one spot! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed a few times and am starting to host while I have an apartment if my own. Would like to attend some meet ups sometime soon, too.

Interests

Sports and adventure: hockey, softball, rock climbing (though I'm still quite new), hiking/scrambling, beach volleyball, and anything to challenge my fear of heights.

Beer and wine. I don't have an exceptional amount of knowledge but I like a good beer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch many movies. I love all music (except maybe some rap) and play the piano somewhat well. I like to read books that help me be a better person by teaching me something new, opening my mind, or making me laugh.
