ABOUT ME

Hello all. I'm a 20 year old college student with a strong desire to travel and meet as many interesting people as I possibly can in this lifetime. I currently live in Orlando, but after traveling the country with my 5 closest friends, other places are looking a lot promising. So I'll stay here for the time being, look for a job and try and save up money for my next adventure, and hopefully host some lovely folks!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm constantly reminding myself (thanks to Charles Bukowski) that; Each night counts for something, else we'd all go mad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with two guys in Portland, with 9 other CouchSurfers. My, what an experience. Was my first time CouchSurfing and one of the other surfers said "from the time the music is turned off at night until the time someone has to wake up from work.. is 30 minutes." My friends and I all had a laugh.. but he wasn't kidding. Good times indeed.

Interests

Reading, writing, singing, craft (and cheap) beers, tending to my mason jar garden, pretending I can swing dance, billiards, and basketball.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently jammin' out to; St. Vincent, Daughter, Tennis, and Tallest Man on Earth.
But I'm always going to be jammin' out to: Sam Cooke, What Did You Do, Austin Miller, Arctic Monkeys, literally any project that Jenny Lewis is attached to, and A Tribe Called Quest.

As far as books go.. Lolita, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Cats Cradle, whatever Bukowski work I've read.. the list goes on really.

I'm a huge movie buff, if you stay with me and I've had a few drinks and I find out you too are a movie buff.. I will challenge you to my movie game. It's fun I promise. Huge fan of work by Nolan, Godard, Anderson, Hitchcock..

I like language, I'll probably ask you to teach me how to say a few things if you're visiting from another country, that is.

I love basketball, if you know nothing of the sport, I will teach you. And I will be very passionate while doing so!
