ABOUT ME

Hi. I'm an artist and organizer living in Oakland, CA. The middle child of a bald man from suburbia Ohio, I am currently planning a Midwest Tour for a book I created about female graffiti and street artists in Latin America. I am traveling with my best friend Rachel, visiting 6 states this summer. We are giving presentation about the women in our book as well as the creative process we undertook to make it. Along the way we will facilitate community art events and stencil making workshops.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am traveling through the Midwest on a book tour. Once I get settled back into my own place at the end of the summer I'm excited to begin hosting people again!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted surfers and been hosted. It is the most incredible way to travel, meeting local people and staying in the heart of a city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was recently a tour manager for a rock and roll band in Europe. We drove all over the continent in an eight seat cargo van + extended trunk for equipment. I was the adult babysitter/logistics queen for a group of 7 of us :)

Teach, Learn, Share

My mom was a terrific baker and taught me everything she knew! Also I know how to finger knit, crochet and change a bike tire. I'll nerd out with you about iambic pentameter.
