I'm a scientist. My home is my haven filled with love and memories. I like couch surfing and the cool people you meet. I'm a very active person, so if I host you expect me to pack a bunch of activities in! If you are just looking for a place to crash, keep looking. I only host people with references who are actually traveling and not just in town for an event and want free accommodations.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I moved to San Diego I found the most amazing friends through the couch surfing community. And that's what couch surfing is to me a COMMUNITY. I do not host people who are merely looking for a free place to crash and treat my home like a hostel. I want to HOST you, as in show you around, get to know you, and share my life with you. I also hope to find this when I travel to other couch surfers. This is the reason why I host the tipsy tuesday (a weekly couch surfer meet up) event, because I think building our community is important (even though I find large groups of strangers very difficult!).

Snorkeling, hiking, eating good food, and sharing a drink with someone! I am also completely in love with science, but I promise I won't get too nerdy on you.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

How do I pick one!?! I suppose I will share my most recent traveling experience which was camping in Guadalupe Canyon in Mexico with some fellow couch surfers. The hiking was amazing, and then we got to soak in hot springs all night long. Meeting new people, having deep conversations with older friends, sharing laughs and food and drinks... this is what life is all about. Not to mention a breath taking sunrise. I love when I can catch a sunrise.
