I am a 23 year old South African who wishes to explore more of this beautiful world of ours - next destination: either Vietnam or Holland.

PHILOSOPHY

Put yourself out there, you never know what you might find. This life is too short to be stuck in one place, hence me wanting to travel and to broaden my life and my view of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living in Hilton, which is a small town in South Africa. I am able to host people from now until January 2017 but after that my dad is more than happy for fellow travellers to pop in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed twice before in 2014. First time was in Italy and second was in London. I had such great hosts and loved every moment of it.

Interests

I love drawing in my free time, as I wish to become a children's book illustrator one day after I am done travelling. I am also very keen on running, hiking and being outdoors. Art history interests me and so does learning about other peoples cultures.

oh and I love trying different types of food, but mainly different types of drinks (at the moment, wine tasting in italy is on the top of my list).

Music: folk music, dance music, country music -- anything that puts a smile on my face and a beat in my step

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you how to say certain South African slang words, such as "bru, keen, stokked, lekker, braai, howzit!"
I can also teach you how to draw and paint or I can teach you how to speak Afrikaans.
I can also teach you how to have fun and make the most out of life :) (that lesson is easy)

Learn: I want to learn about other cultures, food, drinks, music, dance, history etc etc etc

Share: I can share stories about myself, about my country, about my life as a South African. I can also share a bottle of wine with you or even some jokes and smiles to get through the day
