This is always a hard question to answer, isn't it?

As far as music goes, I was raised on classic rock and classical music. At the moment I really enjoy jazz, indie rock, and bluegrass. A few names to throw around are Andrew Bird, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Iron and Wine, Sufjan Stevens, LCD Soundsystem, Squirrel Nut Zippers, The Black Keys, The Avett Brothers, Cake, The Pixies, TV on the Radio, and Carol King.

I'm all over the place as far as books go.
I like most everything from Kurt Vonnegut.

I don't make a lot of time for movies but I really enjoy the quirky ones. I like films by the Coen Brothers, Wes Anderson, and Quentin Tarantino.

I love sharing food. Cooking with friend and eating with friends is one of my most cherished activities. Learning recipes and techniques from other people and sharing my own skills pretty much tops my list of awesome.
