40 countries by time I'm 40, make a difference at the horse rescue I volunteer at, and find the perfect balance of building my career and getting the most out of life.

ABOUT ME

Intelligent, practical, adventurous. I'm a natural leader. When I am not working or studying I design and sew my own clothes, go horseback riding, go skiing or sailing(depending on the season), and enjoy time with friends and family. I like to talk and I am very friendly and social.

I am very involved in professional development and networking. Everywhere I go I try to meet new people and learn as much as I can from those around me.

in all seriousness:

I always like to think about how my actions can impact others in a positive way. I spent a considerable amount of time overseas working for an NGO and met some really wonderful people who were in really unfortunate situations. I also spend a considerable amount of time here volunteering at a horse rescue, rehabilitating, training and caring for abused and neglected horses. I think it's important to be a positive, uplifting person whose actions leave a positive impact on people and the planet(and horses. and other animals of course. but really, horses are so loveable).

Also, when my first horse died someone sent me a card with this Robert Fulghum quote on it and since then I think about it often: “I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge. That myth is more potent than history. That dreams are more powerful than facts. That hope always triumphs over experience. That laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.”

Interests

I like to ride horses, ski, sew and go sailing! I also like to travel and have a goal of going to 40 countries by time I am 40. Oh and I want to move to Dubai and work there after I graduate in May.

Music: Turbofolk, Pitbull, Pistol Annies, Jennifer Lopez, Jason Derulo, 2 Chainz(Don't let the name fool you- 2 Chainz went to Alabama State University on a Football scholarship, was a standout athlete, as well as graduating with a 4.0. THEN the dude decided to pursue a law degree...only to decide that instead of finishing he would rather be a rapper. Because they make way fatter stacks and work considerably less crazy hours. Ya dig?)

-how to make chicken paprikash....as stated previously it is an integral part of my life :)
