About Me

CURRENT MISSION

see the world...

ABOUT ME

I'm 4'11'', pretty laid back, and have been told I get along with everyone. I'm always up for trying new things and like being flexibe. I graduated from a college in Boston in May 2010. I was a double major in Elementary Education and Spanish with a minor in English as a Second Language. I took the following year to travel a little bit and get a feel for what I wanted to do. This year, I started my fist ''real'' job as third grade ELD (English Language Developers) teacher in Phoenix. I enjoy it so far, but I REALLY miss Boston and traveling (I'll have to save that for the summer). I also volunteer & teach adult English classes. I love helping people adjust to their new culture. I understand how hard that can be... especially with a language barrier. I love meeting people from different cultures so that I can learn more about them and the rest of the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a Christian and I live my life to bring glory to my creator.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel, meet new people, and learn about different cultures! Right now I am working and cannot travel as easily... so I love to host people, but also hoping to be able to surf again soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first CS experience was in northern Spain while I was studying abroad in Sevilla for a semester. CS is a great way to travel because you get to meet locals and see the culture through their eyes. I also would love to host people (whenever I am in a more permanent place) because I love to meet new people!
