Discover all the parks, lakes, reserves, animals, birds, insects, mushrooms (...) of the Québec Province, beginning with the La Jacques Cartier park.

ABOUT ME

I love travels. All kinds of travels. I've travelled through the Balkans in spring 07 : road trip from sLOVEnia, down to the Ohrid Lakes, between Macedonia and Albania. I also enjoy visiting cities, big capitals with exciting urban lives : Paris, Amsterdam, Prag, Budapest, Montreal... Looking forward to see more of them here in North-America. But right now, I want to go hiking through the parks of Québec before it's coverd with snow.

PHILOSOPHY

My field of studies have given me (or just strengthend maybe) the lust for public affairs : all that a community of people, of citizens, must deal collectively to live their life. That naturally leads today to a great interest for the environmental issues.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'll be at most of the Québec coachsurfers community events. And back in Bordeaux, France, where I study, I'll have a coach for you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been coachsurfing (outside this community) in the Balkans. The people you meet at the grocery store of the village, if you have the first-aid kit of serbo-croatian language, they'd invite you to their table and give you their best room for the night. Respect, open-mindedness, the will to share, listen, learn and have fun, that's how I see the coachsurfing experience.

Interests

I study politics, so I'm interested in public affairs, politics in general. But I'm curious and have interest in basically everything : history, languages, geography, nature, cultural dialog. When I'm not travelling, I live a normal urban life : love going to the movies, having a drink with friends, visiting museums or various exhibition. Besides I practice handball, go swimming, jogging or the gym quite regularly. I do sports and I like watching and discussing it. That's why I want to experience some sportive activities in the wild here in Québec.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn :
- practical things about nature : the basics you need when you want to go hiking for a couple of days
- religion : I don't belong to any religion, but I'm very curious about people's beliefs.

Would enjoy teaching/talking about :
- the Balkans : love this region, not an scholar, but have some background knowledge
- Europe : the past, present and future of the European Community construction
