About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live, laugh, love
ABOUT ME
My friends say that they always know when I am close by because they can hear my distinctive laughter. Indeed, I do spend a lot of my time laughing and smiling. When I'm older, I want to have wrinkles on my face from smiling so much.
PHILOSOPHY
I am forever an optimist. One of my biggest mottos that I strive to live by every day is to see the best in everyone.
I also believe every moment should be embraced, and every opportunity explored. I am by no means reckless, but I take calculated risks. I think that's the best way to live life, you'll never know what could have been if you never took a chance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couch-surfed all over Europe, and it was the best experience of my life! Couch surfers are always so much fun to be around.
Interests
I used to be dance a lot when I was younger - Chinese folk dance and Latin-Ballroom mainly. I also love to sing. I sometimes hum music without realizing it. Impromptu duets are one of my favourite things in the world.
I like being outdoors - whether it's soaking up the sun at a beach, or sitting by a camp fire. I am also lured by the city life, by the buzzing and bustling of all that is around me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent Summer 2010 in Baker Lake, Nunavut - a small town in Northern Canada near the Arctic Circle. I was volunteering there by leading literacy camps for kids and youths. It was an absolutely incredible experience. I will never forget the midnight sun, ice fishing, hiking through the tundra, the friendly locals, and literally camping out in the middle of nowhere.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I can teach: cooking (especially Chinese cooking), dancing, probably more things that I can't think of right now.
What I want to learn: I really really want to learn how to play the guitar, I also would like to learn new cooking and dancing styles.
