About Me

Student at McGill university in Montreal, Canada doing an exchange in Germany !
I'm passionate about politics and immigration and always interested in learning about others' point of view !
I don't cook much but I can spot a good croissant spot from very far and get one for you before you wake up 🙋. I enjoy a good book on a terrace or a more adventurous hike or even a museum-filled day ! I'm used to sleep in buses when I travel so I really don't mind if you only have a small couch for me haha !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing host are the most fun people to be around since they are by nature generous and open minded. I've found that locals always give the best advices and must see of the city ! I am really interested about others' culture, traditions and food specialities and I don't think there's a better way to discover those than through couchsurfing :)

Interests

  • outdoor activities
  • political science
  • sushi
  • good conversation
  • good beer
  • figure skating

Music, Movies, and Books

Les miserables, Harry Potter (major fan), everything fantastic or historic !
Currently reading about Palestine and the creation of Israel !
I listen to pretty much everything, from old french songs to Queens to quebec music and some classical ! I enjoy listening to german or spanish music even if don't understand everything (or anything)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's nothing quite like travelling alone at night with a broken phone in a foreign country with no english speaker and still making it to the desired destination ! You don't become independent/resourceful by choice, I think backpacking leaves you no choice ! I also have the worst sense of orientation so talking to stranger in the street for direction is my strongest skill

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always down to share my knowledge of quebec biblical swear words and my love for Poutine (the dish not the guy) and maple sirup ! Every canadian stereotype is pretty true

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of laughter, local food and music !

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France, Germany
