Hi everyone!
I am a Canadian student currently based in Genova, Italy, for an exchange program. I am interested in traveling (obviously since I just registered on Couch surfing), meeting new people and sharing ideas, ideally over an aperitivo, Italian tradition that I've been indulging since I arrived here :)
At university I study architecture and travelling is in my opinion the best way to learn, by observing new cities and artistic cultures. I am very interested in everything that is linked to art (I enjoy sketching and taking photographs) and history.
I am also an outdoor enthousiast and loooove to get out of the city to breathe fresh air and admire the landscapes of nature. Hiking, skiing, snowshoeing (if that's even a word) and canoeing are part of my favorite activities.

I strongly believe that traveling to a place is not just visiting monuments or walking in beautiful streets, but also meeting the people, tasting and experiencing local life, which can't be summarized in a postcard or a photograph.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I did a 32 day canoeing expedition in northern Québec in complete autonomy with a group of friends. One of the best experiences of my life.
