I'm 31 years old and I'm coming to Melbourne next week. I'm a singer song writer from the UK and I want to get involved with some of the open mic nights in and around the city. I have spent 3 months living on islands in Indonesia writing new songs and I would now like to experience city life. I have a holiday working visa so I am also interested in finding employment in Melbourne. My day job in the UK is a school teacher so I am looking to find work with a similar skill set. I'm really excited to couch surf and have this opportunity to come to Melbourne and experience the culture I have heard so much about.
