Do as many nice things as are possible. This means finding nice people, having a good time but also think about a possible future. Being involved in my studies means asking questions and being interested in the unkown.

ABOUT ME

Having grown up in a small village in The Netherlands I left for Nijmegen at the age of 18th to study cultural studies. I study arts. Not only the painters of the fifteenth century in musea, but the living art. The artists, how writers participate in contemporary debates and how painters use where they come from and their experiences in their art. In my free time I therefore like cultural stuff, but also enjoy sports; I climb and run.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first and sole couchsurf in ecperience was in my first month in Budapest. Together with a friend I went to Eger - the fourth biggest city in the North-Eastern part of Hungary, where we met our host and spent talking about 'his Hungary' for two days. He brought us to his favourite places, one of his friends and we visited the museum he works at. It was truly memorable and a good introduction into Hungarian life.
