Hello everybody! I’m Laurie. I was born in Cuba but when I was 10, my mother and I moved to Spain, so I have lived each half of my life on opposite sides of the Atlantic. I’m currently in my last year of studies in University; I will graduate with a degree in MUSCIcology (cool, right?). I am a lover of music history. Organology was one of the best things I have discovered during the past few years. I play a little bit of piano and guitar, I sing, and during the last few weeks I just started cello! It is a lovely instrument to play, but a pain to travel with.
I love to learn languages and teach Spanish, so travelling is a must. I have lived in the north of Spain: Lugo and Oviedo. This past year I lived in Granada, Andalucía, as well. Next year I’ll be living in Lisbon and then I am off to Santiago de Chile. I can’t wait!
