About Me

I'm 27, originally from Germany and would love to expand my experience in this wonderful community. I just finished my Master's in communications, having studied in Copenhagen and Liverpool.

I currently live in Copenhagen. Before moving here for my studies, I enjoyed building a school in Nepal as a volunteer, hiking through the Himalayas and explored the desert of India. I like getting to know new people, cultures, and perspectives - which may be the main reason why I travel and host.

Further stays abroad:

In 2015, I studied one semester in California, explored the westcoast and made some stops on the way to NYC.
In 2012, I spent 9 months in Australia and New Zealand where I worked as an au pair for a 5yo boy.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm getting loads of requests and try to get back to everyone. However, I cannot commit to requests that are more than 1 month away. Also, please refer to one thing in my profile when you reach out. Thank you😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know people and learn more about their culture.

Interests

Being active is very important to me as I'm passionate about all kinds of sports. I'm really into football and climbing, I like hiking, cooking and roadtrips. I love music, I'm a professional under-the-shower singer. I used to play the saxophone and just started to teach myself how to play the piano.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bear´s Den, The Lumineers, Bon Iver, Jack Johnson and more or less all kind of live music - Sin City, Dexter, and Californication. - High Fidelity, Into Thin Air and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helped building a school in Nepal with a beautiful bunch of international volunteers.

Teach, Learn, Share

It will probably not save your life, but did you know that, according to empirical research, even the smell of coffee...

- doesn't just strengthen your ability to concentrate...
- but also makes people you meet appear more likable to you...
- and makes yourself a more helpful person? Well, now you know:-)

I look forward to learn from you!
