Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've offered my couch a few times, as well as met up with people for drinks. I also got great travel advise from people on Couchsurfing for my African trip!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I opened my account in a sort of emergency state since I couldn't find the friend I was staying with in Madrid and remembered that a random guy in Russia told me about it. I've never surfed myself (i'd love to though!) but I've had a couple of people in my couch and it's been great!

Interests

wow, i'm interested in so many different things!!! to start with TRAVELING is my passion, and everything that comes with it: experiencing new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures, tasting weird food, everything!

I'm interested in good books, musicals, art (not conceptual art though, i hate that) in adventure traveling, in extreme sports, in wine... i would love to learn more (and be good at) math, since i can't put 2+2 together without a calculator.

Books: Harry potter and everything Paulo Coehlo... "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and "Eat, Pray, Love" changed my life
Music: almost anything, I only hate hardcore rock like Rammstein or stuff like that... but mostly alternative rock
Movies: Moulin Rouge, Ratatouille, LOTR triology, Blood Diamond, V for Vendetta, The Lost City... among some others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing sunset I've seen in my life is in Athens... a super red sky and sun just behind the Acropolis.... BREATH-TAKING
**I'll have to change the most amazing sunset and give the 1st place to CAPE TOWN... but the one in Athens was still pretty awesome!

On of the coolest things I've done... skydiving and scuba diving (as for scuba diving, THE BEST place so far is Belize...A W E S O M E!!!)
SCARIEST thing ever...jumping 134m down the Nevis Bungy jump in New Zealand
My most famous moment... hahah, appearing in Venezuelan national tv on Who wants to be a millionaire... VERY funny!! also, an interview in TVE that appeared worldwide before the 4th encierro in Pamplona 2008
Most awesome/unexpected experience... backpacking Central America... for us Latin people it is such an underrated destination, yet it is AMAZING!
Biggest dream come true... going to the World Cup in South Africa... making history!
