ABOUT ME

My name is Laura and I am a 26 year old Canadian. I recently backpacked through Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico for 5 weeks, and now I am back in Calgary finishing my Masters in Public Policy. I am a very social, outgoing person who loves to travel, learn about different cultures and new languages. I take pride in being open-minded and am always up for an adventure. I love to meet like-minded people and thoroughly enjoy great intellectual conversations! I will try almost anything once, I live life in the present, and most importantly I really do love my life!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host people here in Calgary and show them the Canadian culture and all the great things that this city has to offer! I have couch surfed in 6 countries and had amazing experiences so I would love to reciprocate now!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Thailand, Vietnam, India, and Colombia and had very positive experiences! I would recommend couchsurfing to all open-minded people!

I like all kinds of music, but tend to listen to more electronic, latin and pop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

it is a tie for two things: spending some time at a biodiversity station in the Amazon in Ecuador, and hiking the Inca Trail in Peru! By far the coolest things I have done in my life thus far!
