HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a couch! ok.. well.. "we" have a couch:/ That's why my participating is a bit complicated:)So just to reduce the questions i will explain a bit my situation:)
I am living in a shared house, and the sofa is in our shared living room :) I don't know if it's completely "legal" to use this sofa for this purpose, so i can't reply to all the requests.. My housemates are cool, and honestly, never complaint that someone stays over (yet!) ;)) Honestly, i don't even meet them daily, cause everyone is busy with smt, so there is a small chance to meet someone while staying:)
I think couchsurfing is cool, so i would love to participate! Just the current situation makes it a bit limited:)
