Overview
About Me
I work at a policy strategy firm in Beijing, editing reports about China's policy for multinational companies and organizations. At the same time, I also write articles on art and culture.
I used to work at an arts magazine in London and studied History so I'm very interested in the cultural side of travelling.
I love art, dance and theatre. I spend my free time seeing plays, reading and finding new cocktail bars.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think couchsurfing can be a great way to meet locals with similar or even very different interests. My best travelling experiences are rarely about stunning views or sightseeing. (I actually sometimes find sightseeing boring...) But it's sitting down with a hotel owner in Yunnan and playing cards over baijiu. Or staying with a local family in a village in Myanmar.
