Hello! I am 22 years old and living in Chicago. I work at hospital with the classic 9-5 but during my free time I really try to get involved in other things outside of my job. That is where couchsurfing comes in.
I grew up in Indiana where there wasn't much diversity. Now that I'm in Chicago, I make a conscious effort to meet people from all over the world.

I hope to one day work and travel as a digital nomad (gladly will take any tips or suggestions).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be moving to China in a few months and I found a Reddit post that suggested I should use couch surfing for their "hangouts" to meet people. Before I use it in China, I thought it would make sense to try out couch surfing first in my own city (Chicago).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a solo trip to New York City while I was in college. I made some genuine life-long friends while I was there. The solo trip was a big deal to me because I had never traveled anywhere (even within my own hometown) by myself up to that point.
