ABOUT ME

Artist currently braving the minne-snow-ta winters. Most of my time is spent dancing, creating dance, teaching dance, and adventuring. I like dive bars, gonzo journalism, my dog, engaging with interesting/curious people, and whiskey.

I like experiencing my own life through dance, and sharing with others our mutual experience through dancing. I like people who are ridiculously passionate about things in life. I like finding myself in places I didn't expect to be.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-Backpacking by myself for the first time, and I wanted to find a somewhat secluded beach in Thailand. After a god-awful flight to Bangkok, getting lost in the Patpong (red light) district, having a hard time figuring out the bus schedule out of Bangkok, being forced to ride with some old fisherman in a rickety boat to get to the island, and then getting scammed on a taxi once I got to the harbor, I finally walked through the jungle and found myself on the most amazing white sand beach I had ever seen in my life. I had been traveling for about 60 hours straight by this point, and the combination of isolation and accomplishment was like no other.
