ABOUT ME

Hello fellow CSers! <3

My name is Eddie and I'm a 28year-old woman living in Vienna, the capital of Austria.
Recently, I've been very busy with uni and work and I realised that I kind of slipped into this boring 9 to 5 mainstream life that I never wanted to have. Suddenly I found myself amidst all the other grumpy faces commuting to work early in the morning, having this "I-hate-my-life" attitude myself.

However, I know it doesn't have to be like that. Some years ago I was leading a completely different life, squatting in London, sharing the experience with amazing people who didn't want to get trapped in the system machinery either and enjoying every minute of living their lives freely. Eventually, however, my life took a turn which lead to these lifestyle changes.

I heard about CS a long time ago and always wanted to give it a try. Now I think the time has arrived for me to meet people who believe that a different life is possible, indeed, and who are eager to find the satisfaction that arises from sharing your life with the people that pass through it and maybe leave a trace of their personalities behind in the process.

No man is an island. We are all in this together, so let's make this life the best possible experience for everybody!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS page but I dare say I have plenty of experience in the so-called CS experience. I have lived abroad and travelled a bit across Europe and I think everybody who has done similar things and met people on their way knows how great it feels to really touch someone's life in a meaningful way, just by being there and enjoying each other's company.

I haven't yet hosted any CSers or stayed at someone's place through CS myself, but I am honestly looking forward to meeting all of you great people out there and becoming part of this community.

Centres d'intérêt

I love learning languages and travelling. I used to learn many languages before but now Japanese is my top priority. I've been learning Japanese on and off for about 10 years now but I still have achieved very little proficiency in it... :( That's why I'm trying to stick with Japanese now and I won't give up until I have reached a level where I can freely communicate in Japanese!

I also love dancing and doing yoga. It gives my a sense of really feeling at home in my body.

A third thing I'm really passionate about is food! I looove food! :D That reminds me, I'm hungry...
