ABOUT ME

We left the United States to travel at the beginning of April 2013. We settled in Rome for a year. What an experience! In August, we will both be back in the United States, ready to start the next adventure. In our spare time, we love running, hiking, going to concerts, drinking good wine and beer, eating the best pizza, reading, and going out with friends.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying not to take anything too seriously is very important to us. We both laugh a lot. We also believe in the power of positive thinking. Going with the flow, being laid back, and not worrying too much is our key to happiness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've surfed many couches during our time abroad and hosted only a few times. We cannot wait to be back in California and begin hosting again. Our hosts have been so kind to us and we want to return that kindness to travelers in our town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has brought such amazing people and experiences into our lives. It has also taught us many valuable life lessons. Couchsurfing is super awesome.

Meagan is a movie buff, she is also an english major. We both love the same type of music and we've seen countless bands perform! Concerts are one of our favorite things to do when we travel. We read a lot in our spare time! It's always important to have a book to get lost in.

escaped a burning building (our house), surfed our first couch in Austin, TX during SXSW in 2011, lived in a tent in Turkey.

We will take you on bike rides to the beach and hikes to the top of very high hills. We can take you wine tasting and teach you about Californian wine. Lisa can give you a lesson in fine cheese, Meagan wants to brew you a pot of coffee in her Chemex.
