About Me

I'm a little boy from the countryside. I like the great outdoors, snow and the colors of Autumn. I like chocolate, cereals, cereals with chocolate and I am learning to love French cheese. I like staying in bed late, discussing the meaning of life around a beer, cooking. I don't like to shave, I don't like to be in a hurry, and I definitely don't like to have my bike stolen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling around and meeting people. Couch surfing is a good way to meet people when I'm not travelling, while allowing other people to travel! I also simply love the idea of sharing whatever extra I have at home with other people.

Interests

I'm into climbing quite a lot these days. I have been around Europe in the recent years to explore its many beautiful climbing spots. I'm no expert, but I enjoy it a lot and I spend most of my free time doing that. Beach volleyball is also pretty high in my list, but I sadly haven't played in a while.
I like reading, singing, running, brewing beer at home, cooking.
I like robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision and electronics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel around south-eastern Europe with my girlfriend for 6 months on our bicycles. This led to: having tea with random people almost every day, share a meal and spend the night with a very welcoming familly just because we happenned to buy 2 tomatoes in their grocery store, get our wallet and phone stolen and share a meal with the local police officers, cross the Alps wearing sandals.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a decent climber, earned some experience in cyclo-tourism and can discuss a little bit about home-brewing.
Discussions related to artificial intellignece, robotics and computer vision are also possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a free room for the time being. It will soon be occupied by a little baby boy. In the meantime, there is a couch bed in the room. Any visitor will be welcome to share the rest of the apartment with us: kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, etc. I also have two bicycles available for visitors.
