CURRENT MISSION:
To host women in my home located in Chibana not Naha on weekend days.

Women only.
Weekends only.
One hour north of Naha.

PLEASE make note of this before sending a request. Thank you. I may not be able to show around but you will have a clean comfortable place to stay at night. Please make your own arrangements to arrive and leave my home. I do not allow people to stay in my home while we are not home. So mostly a place to sleep or if we have time, hang out.

ABOUT ME

I am an elementary school teacher. I have taught adults and children for the last 25 years. I have recently come to a place in my life where I value experiences over things,. I enjoy traveling more and more. I was more career oriented and a home body. Then I got the opportunity to travel to Spain a few summers ago and the travel bug bit me.

I have two adult children and one teenager.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently we live one hour north of Naha in Chibana, Okinawa Japan. I only host women in my home and preferably on weekends or holidays. I like to connect with others that value seeing the world by couch surfing and affording others the chance to come see my part of the world. I participate in and host local couchsurfing events.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far it has been a wonderful experience. My boys have enjoyed meeting others and hosting. I hope to travel more through this site.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went to Spain and visited Madrid, Barcelona, Leon and the Canary Islands alone. This was a huge for a southern NM small town person. Also quite an accomplishment considering I went "away to college 45 miles away" LOL That is how small my world was and sometimes continues to be. However, I am currently living in Japan!

To meet people that travel and have different experiences to share. Give my boys the opportunity to meet people from all over the world. I want to plant a seed that will encourage them to think big. I grew up with a small town mentality and don't want them to miss out.
