ABOUT ME

Fun loving, friendly, easy going. Loves meeting new people from all other areas. Traveling is a passion. Married to a wonderful man and we have 2 girls. One lives in Atlanta-an RN with a 8 year old , 5 year old and 2 year old; The other is a 3rd grade teacher in Costa Rica after traveling for the past 7 years in the South Pacific, Europe and Africa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted people from all over Europe, India, most of Europe, Cameroon,Philippines,Romania,Kenya,Italy,Canada,Mexico and all over the USA. I have always had people in our home even as a child.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Touched a manta ray in Tahiti.Swam with the sea turtles on the North Shore in Oahu. Hiked in Denali National Park, scaled Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. Saw Stone Mountain in Georgia. Spent 3 weeks in Italy with my girls-couchsurfing, with no travel agenda-Oct 2009. In Dec 2011, spent 3 weeks traveling the southern USA with my youngest daughter. Spent 3 weeks in Kitale, Sibanga and Saiwa Swamp, Kenya in Feb 2012. White water rafted on the Trinity River, July 2012. In May 2013, spent 3 weeks in Southern Spain, some couch-surfing, with my youngest and my husband. Spent 3 weeks getting lost in Germany in Sept 2014.
Spent Aug 2016 backpacking for 3 weeks in Peru, climbing Colca Canyon and Macchu Picchu.
In 2017 the family hiked in China's national parks and the rural Great Wall.
In Oct 2018 went to Cuba to do 3 building projects. Just return in Jan 2019 from vising our youngest in Berlin.
We have a Non-Profit School in Kitale,Kenya for underprivileged children. www.kokosvillage.org
