Hi there! I am a 31 year old, normally living in Belgium, now everywhere else. The last 3 years I've been working as a web-journalist for the news at the national television station VTM NIEUWS. I live (normally) in a little cute house in Antwerp with one of my best friends.

I know it is cheesy and uncool or whatever adjective you want to add to the list, but we only live once. Therefore I'€™m looking for things that raise my heartbeat. Things like moving to another city, traveling by yourself to far countries and quitting your job to travel a year. At the moment I'€™m doing the latter. I started october 2013 in Darwin, Australia and I will do and go where I feel like going: New Zealand, Australia, Thailand.

I am easygoing, can act very crazy and often talk before I think. But I can also really enjoy moments by myself - I think everyone sometimes need that.

I enjoy life so much, and as almost everyone I love to travel. Last year I went twice to the US, a country that I adore - had some unforgettable times there. Both times I traveled by myself and did only Couchsurfing. Good decision, met awesome people.

I think my friends would describe me as outgoing, loyal, talkative and just fun :) I love to meet new people and new cultures! It is interesting to get to know different opinions and point of views. But in the end everyone is the same, so let's just have a blast!

My first CS-experience was in Ljubljana, 2012. Was really nice! For my trips to the US, I stayed with a lot of CS-hosts, and it was awesome. made some friends for life.

兴趣

I love my friends. They are so important for me. The moments when we cook dinner (with looooooots of wine), put on some music and do crazy dance moves, are the best moments of my life. I also love music. I almost always have music on: in my room, in the kitchen, in my ears when I go outside. And I love to dance on it too (this doesn't mean i can dance).

Concerning traveling: I'm not the regular tourist I think. I won't follow a strict plan, I'll just do what I feel like doing, depending on the people i meet, what they suggest. I love to get to know the area in the point of view of a local. I also like different kind of things. I like to party, but I also love to hike a couple of days into the wild nature with a only a tent. I strive to get all of that during 1 trip. I also really love climbing. I'm always keen to join some climbers (i have a harness and shoes).

I like books. When I read a book I'm in another world, which can be funny, 'cause suddenly I find myself crying or laughing out loud with the story.

The same with music. I love to buy cd's or LP's. I appreciate all kinds of music, but I mostly listen to rock.

I'm also a big fan of old heroes such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits and Bruce Springsteen.

Trip to south africa was amazing! beautiful nature! Breathtaking!
Travels to California - especially Yosemite National Park. Have friends who work and live there. Did some epic stuff in Yosemite.
