Overview
About Me
I am an older American who has lived in Norway for many years. I presently live in Oslo. I have been a teacher and a cook but now I am retired. For extra money now I work a few days each month at IKEA in their restaurant.
My main passion is writing fiction. I have published one literary novel and am working on another. I am also a painter and work with acrylic. I am presently working on a series of Oslo city streets. You can see examples of my work in the photo section. Links to webpages are also below.
I realize that most people here are much younger than myself. I hope that there are older people as well. Working at IKEA, I meet and get along well with younger people. Perhaps I have something to offer that is different.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Want to have some personal experiences when I travel, not just staying in some sterile hotel room. Want to meet citizens of the places I visit to get a personal perspective. This sounds like fun. Adventuresome.
