Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The world is so round and I love making true and meaningful friendships that lasts. CS is a great place to do it and culture exchanges too.

First time surfed in Iran in 2016 and it took me by surprised. I was blowed by the experience, so good, so great and made a few friends and we are still keeping in touch until now.

I've also surfed a bit while discovering Australia back then in 2019 and I've received so much hospitality, love, care along the way. I'm very likely going to meet up with a few of my ex-hosts this year.

Before that, when I was younger I've met up with some traveller who were travelling to Vietnam and showed them around the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- When I was a broke student, I successfully made a crowdfunding campaign to fly myself to South Korea for a student international conference, which I was half-sponsored. So many people around, even strangers helped me that time and I'm now still giving back, pay it forward to the community in my ways.
- So many spontaneous trips to unknown/ spiritual places/ off the beaten paths, mostly alone by myself and occasionally with strangers whom I met on the way, especially in Iran, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Indonesia, Australia.
