"With a theatre director and actor background, Jacques Urbanska has questioned the conventional theatre scene as a unique possible place of representation, the individual spectator relationship, the spectatorial "a-perception" and the notion of post-dramatic theater. His projects can be described as events, modules and deambulatory shows. Since 2008, his work is more performance and digital arts oriented. In 2010, through the blog www.digital-art-digital-diary.be, he undertook research on the "handing over" of information "digital arts networks". Since the beginning of 2011, he has launched the artistic laboratory www.arts-numeriques.info which keeps up to date the information on digital arts in Belgium and abroad. He is also the associated artist and content curator for the development of the 2.0 version of the Digitalarti portal."
