About Me

Hi :)
I'm a 27-year-old Swiss girly, born and raised in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Over the past years, I’ve lived in Hamburg, Fribourg (where I studied psychology and neuroscience), and now in Geneva, where I recently finished my master’s degree.

I have a deep love for cinema, music, books, and pretty much all forms of art. I’m endlessly curious about people, stories, and new ways of seeing the world. I thrive in open-minded conversations, especially those that stretch late into the night, over good food and shared rolled cigarettes (we call that "drummini").

I love traveling, not just as a way to see things, but as a way to stop, connect, and learn. Recently I’ve been rethinking how I travel: moving away from a “checklist” or capitalist mindset toward something slower and more meaningful. Not just "going to Japan because it's beautiful," but perhaps "going to Japan to take a masterclass on tea." I’m more into immersion than just sightseeing.

I’m outgoing and friendly, especially one-on-one, where I love connecting deeply, in group settings, I tend to be a little more observant and laid-back. I’ve always lived with roommates and truly love shared spaces: the vibe, the randomness, the late-night chats in the kitchen. I’ve been lucky to always meet amazing flatmates, and most of them are still now my close friends.

My political values are important to me, I care deeply about justice, equity, and freedom. So this is not a space for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or any kind of hate/discrimination. I’m politically defined, support Palestinian liberation, and many social causes. I value spaces where these conversations are possible and welcomed.

Besides that, I adore:

Indie cinemas and little film festivals

Board games (be warned: I get very competitive, but in a fun way ;))

Long walks in nature

Painting, reading, and newness

People who are curious, kind, and who dare to go deep in conversations.

Looking forward to meeting you, sharing stories, maybe cooking together or watching a film. I'm happy to listen, exchange, and learn from each other 🌿

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because some of the most meaningful moments in my travels have come from sharing time and space with others; over a meal, a walk, a conversation, ...

It's also great to see and visit a place trough the eyes of someone who lives there, the tips are always the best!

Couchsurfing, for me, is also one of the few ways to break away from the capitalist model of travel; and to build something rooted in trust, generosity, and shared experience.

I’ve always lived in shared flats and love the vibe of spontaneous chats in the kitchen, little rituals, the warmth of coexistence.
