Hey everyone!
My name is Lea and I'm an 18-year-old girl from Dresden, Germany. I finished school in 2018 and now I want to see the world. I'm currently working as a cashier in a huge sport shops to earn the money for my big dream: spending a few month in the UK, travelling around and visiting all the places I've always wanted to see. I somehow fell in love with this country, its people, culture, landscapes, food...basically everything :). Nevertheless, I want to visit as many countries as possible because it's the only way to really get to know other cultures and lifestyles. I do believe that we can learn so much from each other and can get along, if just accept that there is more than one lifestyle. I consider myself to be open-minded, sometimes a bit shy but usually friendly and honest person :)

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is definitely the best way to meet locals and to get in touch with a lot of new people. I think that's a really essential part of travelling, especially when you are travelling alone. This is a chance to experience so many new things! And i also want to improve my language skills.

I don't really have a favourite band or music genre; I'm pretty open to everything. I mainly read fantasy and fiction and sometimes some historical stories. I'm a real bookworm! I've read a lot of books and some of my favourites are Harry Potter (of course), The invisible library-series, Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children, A song of ice and fire, WARP, Percy Jackson and the Peter Grant-series. I'm also a huge movie fan! I watch almost everything except horror movies...too much of a coward for it :D. Favourite TV-series: Game of Thrones, Penny Dreadful, Downton Abbey, Wynonna Earp, Friends, How I Met Your Mother...I think I could continue that list for ever :)

I travelled Namibia for three weeks with my family and we learned so much about the people living there, about their history and their way of living. I think it really changed my view of the world. We travelled with a local guide and camped most of the time. It was amazing!
