Overview
About Me
I am an inquisitive girl that hopes to get to see as much of the world as possible.
I'm currently in Australia, so I won't be able to host for a while :/
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of my goals for life is to travel each continent - and I am doing well so far. I hope to meet amazing people and learn and be inspired by their story. There is so much adventure, knowledge, fun and diversity out there and I hope to see and experience as much of it as possible.
I've been waiting for a while to sign up to couchsurfing, finally :)
Interests
I love to play Tennis and have been playing Volleyball for a few years. I am also very happy with a good book on the couch or going scuba diving. I've spent a few weeks in Ireland surfing and really hope to get the opportunity to go surfing again, it was so much fun! Another thing I love is travelling and getting to know a country. I am always amazed by how fast you can feel at home somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some very good books I have recently read were "My sisters keeper", "Wonder", "The fault in our stars" and "Ready player one". I am also a GOT fan (I really need to find the time to read them again). As far as movies are concerned one of my all time favorites is "Inception", but over all I am more into TV series. My recent favorites would be BBCs Sherlock and Orphan Black.
My taste of music is changing a lot: it ranges from Eminem over Green day to OneRepublic. Currently my favorite band is Imagine Dragons and I'd say the song I like the most over all is "Sail" by Awolnation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing experience I have had was a scuba dive at night in egypt. It was truly amazing - diving is always a very special experience, as it takes the world away from you, puts you in an wonderful, quiet place and makes you slow down and appreciate nature.
This particular dive took it to a new level however: The guide pointed out a fish that sleeps head down on top of a rope every single night. And I will never forget diving out of a cave only to see a dozen blowfish asleep on the sand. I never thought fish could be this cute. The most astonishing thing happened towards the end of the dive: The water around me began to glow. It was really kind of magical. I was swimming through flourescent plancton and when I moved my hand I could make out the trail of the movement in the water.
