Hi everybody, I'm Lea, a travel enthusiast who loves to meet new people from around the 🌍 and exchange experiences. ☀️
I'm 26 years old and living and studying Cultural Science and Art in Hildesheim, a sweet little town (close to Hannover, Germany).

Whenever I find time, mostly during the semesterbreaks, I try to go around. Before I started my bachelor's, I travelled around Southeast Asia and Central America.

I'm an outgoing person with many interests, I love all kinds of outside activities and trying new things in general. But I also enjoy calm moments, having a coffee together, doing creative stuff, or some yoga.

For me, couchsurfing is such an enriching experience cause I love connecting with people from all over the world and learning about their daily life and exchange or views on the world.

I tried Couchsurfing first in the US and had some very nice experiences. I think this is a very good possibility to get in touch with local people and learn more about their culture and daily life. Personally, I'm often not that much interested in sightseeing (even though sometimes there are some cool places to check out), but what fascinates me about places are mostly the people and the atmosphere. Cause that's what travelling for me is really about, new connections and learning about the worlds different shapes.

My interests are very wide, sometimes I get lost regarding all the possibilities life offers.
I'm a creative person, and I love painting, photographing, and all kinds of DIY projects. I also enjoy visiting museums.
Apart from that, I love spending time in nature. When I visit other cities, I often try to find beautiful parks to rest and read a bit. I like hiking, yoga, bouldering, dancing, and exploring new places and nature.
Spending time with my friends is also very important to me, as well as meeting new people and sharing nice moments together. I love cooking together (I'm vegetarian, by the way), having a glass of wine together and a good conversation or just share funny moments. ☺️

I listen to different kinds of music. Some Indiemusic, Reggae, Spanish, and French speaking interprets as well as other languages, Techno and electronic music. Some multinstrumental stuff as well. I'm always open to find out about other artists and different music styles:)) I also love listenings to life music of all kinds!!
There is not enough space here to speak about all the amazing books and films which they are in the world... Let's just chat about it together ? I love visiting small little cinemas, so if there's one, I'm always down for that 😊

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

It's very difficult to tell one special story... there always happens so much while travelling.
Two years ago, I did an exchange semester in Galicia, Spain, and within a half year, the little town I lifed in became a home, and strangers I met became friends. This time had a huge impact on my life and on my personal development, and I will always remember it. I realised that even though if people are from different countries and backgrounds, you always have something in common and that there are so many interesting people out there to meet with different stories, living ideas and experiences to share ✨️
