Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I am travelling, I really like to get to know the country and the people living in it. So, I rather spend time with locals, see how they live and what makes their town special for them than just being a tourist staying in a hotel that could be anywhere in the world. In addition to using public transportation and to hitchhiking, couchsurfing is a wonderful opportunity to do that.
